I'm doing fine with the braces - was doing fine. until today when a piece of wire decided to come loose and constantly prick me in the cheek. which, by now, is raw and in pain.

Did they give you any wax for emergencies? That saved my bacon a few times ...

Hey - did you go to see the Golden Compass? How did you like it?
they did give me wax, but I just can't seem to get it to stay where it belongs. I still put it in overnight, but if I have it in during the day I end up eating it with my clementines or chocolate or something. I tried sugar-free chewing gum, which sticks better than the wax but makes everything taste like peppermint :/
@shazza: yes, we did see the movie and it was brilliant. especially considering they had to cut such a long story short - they definitely cut in the right places. dakota blue richards is an amazing young talent, and eva green and nicole kidman totally rocked our worlds :)
