feel like licking a crow-bar

I have this sourish, aluminum-ish taste in my mouth. I have had it for a couple of days now and it won't go away no matter what I eat or drink or how often I brush my teeth or whether I use chewing gum or just simply sit there with nothing in my mouth at all. it kinda comes from the roof of my mouth and it's weirding me out massively...
