LF Gamer Name

Much like Finn has asked you to help her decide between her chars, I am now asking you to help me find a gamer name for me. I'm planning to use it for registration on any games network and later on even as an xBox gamer tag (I realise I'm probably going to have to add numbers to it though).

So here are three choices I'm asking you to rate, but please feel free to add any other name you can think off incl. reasons why it would fit with me in the comments section (or within the poll if you don't feel comfortable commenting).

The Worry Hat

I haven't been blogging lately because I just couldn't find the time at work and wasn't inclined to do internet stuff once I got home. And then I've been busy playing the Spellforce Platinum Edition (a really awesome RPG for PC). Got it for free with a german videogaming mag we're reading. I'm losing whole days to this game as does finn... Also I've been sick with a weird summer cold these past couple of days, so I stayed home and played even more Spellforce. I'll be working on my thesis again the next two or three weeks and also I'm working working, that is when I'm not home sick. Being sick in the summer really really sucks. By now I'm down to a simple cough but it's enough to make me not want to travel through half the city to spend the day in a sweltering hot office building.

I might not get around to blogging much these next months, but I should at least get back to reading all your blogs once I'm back at work on Monday. However, I do want to leave you something nice. Like, for example, pointing you to today's Questionable Content comic. May it make you laugh as much as me.

presents presents presents!

I'm beginning to think of ideas of how to reward myself when I finish the thesis (laura gave me the idea that I should when she asked me what I was planning to get for myself). this is one of them, but to be honest it's too fucking expensive. the wii fit package is the other, I was surprised to find out that they already sell it in Europe, thought it would take ages to get here and now we get it earlier than North America (which usually never happens... with anything. and yes, I'm quite bitter about it ;)

wii fit

here's the trailer for the new wii fit "game". I'm not so much into the fitness part of this, I think it just plays into people's current madness about body fat, but the balance board used looks pretty cool to me. So if I could also use it for skateboarding games, etc. I think I'd even buy it. It would surely enhance the wii experience, which currently only includes your upper body via movement of the wiimote and the nunchuk.

swooosh swooosh

I'm at work. They were so glad to have help on a day between the holidays that my boss promised to get me a phone. If it works out I'll actually get my very own extension and my co-workers won't have to share their phones with me anymore. And I won't have to wait until someone doesn't need it anymore. Oh well...

Unfortunately today a phone isn't much help anyways. Just try to reach people on December 27th. Somehow even press officers have better things to do today. Only us poor journalists sitting here. All the while I'd rather be at home playing LEGO Star Wars, which I bought today, on the wii.

swooosh swooosh. hehe.

d & d

finn already said most about it. My elf sucked too. But it was fun and I seriously want to start playing. Maybe after I finish my thesis...?
