speaking of alan ball

apparently there's some six feet under-ish Canadian series coming up. info I now have thanks to afterellen.com. The opening titles do look intriguing. Unfortunately I'm hesitant about Gil Bellows' ability to carry a whole series. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind him in Ally McBeal (which I admit is the only thing I've seen him in - I think) but he just... I don't know... not only people like Calista Flockhart or Lucy Liu but almost everyone could outact him easily.
