what's with all the blood sucking?

what is it with all the vampire series suddenly? especially since there will always be only one vampire series for me. but unfortunately you can probably sign me up for this one as well.
Alan Ball - check. (remember six feet under? exactly.)
Anna Paquin - check.

but to be honest, the six feet under opening titles alone were pure genius.
