but it's definitely worth mentioning:
my thesis-"advisor" has dropped me. He wrote me an email (!!!) Monday evening that he will not further coach me and has already informed my university about this. He gave no specific reasons, only that "I must probably know the reasons". duh?
However, I now have to find a new advisor and my uni isn't helping much. Ghastly bastards.

Wtf! So they're just leaving you high and dry? That really sucks. There's got to be someone who can help you get through this last part. What a GD nightmare.
