again: my mother is a crazy person

she honestly wanted us to bring back her car now in the middle of the night when the underground is going rarely OR tomorrow morning by 6 o'clock. never mind that we had arranged for her to come get it here on her way home tonight. well she did in the end, but only after a lot of screeching, screaming and shouting. I've taken to hanging up. and i'm beginning to think that maybe I shouldn't be all that worried about moving to another country. she'll be so happy to see me when she does she won't freak all the time. one can only hope, eh.

I can identify with the crazy and unpredictable mother ... it is a handful. I left home 10 years ago because I couldn't take it, and that was the best decision I ever made. She still complains that I don't live close enough, but she's always a lot happier to see me.

Do what you want to do, you'll be happier in the long run.

the "problem" is, that she's a master of emotional blackmailing. as soon as I move away from her, she's about to suffer some horrible fate along the lines of "if something happens to me while driving it's your fault because I didn't get enough sleep because you didn't want to bring me the car in the middle of the night." again, I've taken to hanging up. what is it with women and their mothers? if my girlfriend's mum wasn't essentially a sane person I'd completely lose hope.
