QOTD: sex and chocolate

I was never especially fond of Teri Hatcher... I think it's the voice.
But in a time of promise rings and chastity belts and whatnot, I just have to be fond of a woman who says things like this to her daughter:

"Have great sex [and] eat the chocolate," (link)

I know, it's People magazine, so chances that it's actually true are naturally slim, right?

And now I'm totally grossed out by myself.
I hate getting my period just for my eating habits in the previous days. And also because I feel attached to my boobs and not the other way round.

edit: oh no, I ate another one! Apparently I'm a slave to chocolate today. HEEEEELP!!!!!

seems this is a video day for me, but I just want to say that ellen is back in my good books. it seems she is gay again. Now I really don't think anyone should be forced into icon-ness (?), but to a lot of queer women ellen coming out was important and the fact that she kept understating that and doing such a very straight daytime show was hurtful. I'm glad she's back a little.

What's not to love?

People kept gushing about Tina Fey last season. I wasn't watching 30 Rock, so of course I didn't get it. I've seen the first season of 30 Rock by now. And I totally get why one should definitely gush about Tina Fey :)

It helps that I love American Express commercials.

It actually wasn't that bad, just a little uncomfortable at times.
and the doctor was a really nice woman, great doctor with a pretty interesting life story.
she told me to start drumming and meditation. and that I shouldn't take everything to heart, ponder less. so I decided to do more shinergy, try the drumming, maybe finally try yoga in case I like it after all, and generally take things a little less seriously. fret less.

the gf actually thinks it's ok to suggest I make muffins or cookies for her best friend (the one I don't even know yet), although she knows that I'm no allowed to eat sugar right now. I have nothing against her best friend, I'm actually prepared to finally meet her, but the fact that my girlfriend would make me torture myself by baking something I'd really want myself but am not allowed to taste, that just eludes my comprehension.


also there should be a relationship rule: if you need time for yourself then you FUCKING HAVE TO TAKE IT and not just be weird and distant and annoying for days on end. you could of course also act like you don't care about anything at all, that will be fine too...
