Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog starts on July 15th. With Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion.
It comes as no surprise to me that Whedon even knows how to service the internet crowds. One can not not love this guy *sigh*

here's the full text that makes me feel all mushy inside. and mostly sorry for myself for being in thesis-mode instead of 11:59 a.m.-mode - yet.
You are late-sleepy relaxation, the half-awake moment when you realize it's morning, but you don't have to get up, because there's no place you have to be. You are that cozy spot under the covers where everything feels temporarily perfect, even if you know you'll eventually have to wiggle out and start the day. Maybe you're the artistic type, who doesn't function well on a normal schedule. Sleep's important to you, and you like the freedom of sleeping as late as you want (especially since that is closely related to the freedom to stay up as late as you want). You like to roll out of bed, put on some comfy clothes, and get a laid back start to the day. If not everything on your list gets accomplished, no worries. Your only priority is having no priorities – you just want to take things at a slow, mellow pace.

I'm at work. They were so glad to have help on a day between the holidays that my boss promised to get me a phone. If it works out I'll actually get my very own extension and my co-workers won't have to share their phones with me anymore. And I won't have to wait until someone doesn't need it anymore. Oh well...
Unfortunately today a phone isn't much help anyways. Just try to reach people on December 27th. Somehow even press officers have better things to do today. Only us poor journalists sitting here. All the while I'd rather be at home playing LEGO Star Wars, which I bought today, on the wii.
swooosh swooosh. hehe.

When my mum wrote me an email last week that finn and I had a chance to get a free holiday, I almost cried. It turned out that I have an insurance that provides me with a voucher every two years. Fortunately I can use the voucher in a couple of spa hotels around Austria. For instance I can get 4 nights for one person or 2 nights for 2 - for free. So today I booked a two night-holiday for finn and me at a spa hotel in one of Austria's nicest provinces for end of december. For free. Massage included. I think I'm going to almost cry again.

First promo for the fifth season of The L Word - and I absolutely love it. It made me forget how disappointed I was in seasons two and three and how narrowly season four became a watchable show.
This one is the first L Word promo ever that truly makes me look forward to the next season. If the promo can already make me laugh and cry and cheer, then this could truly become a great season. Maybe I like it so much because it's not so "drama queen" like, maybe because the song is simply magnificent, maybe because the shots are soft and nicely lighted. Whatever it is, I think I just became a fan again. But have a look for yourselves. And anyone know what the song is, please do tell me...
oh, and I'm so double-posting this.
edit: apparently the song is Be Be Your Love by Rachael Yamagata

there's something going on right now, but I'm not going to jinx it. I'll just shut up and keep my fingers crossed. and I'll tell you once it's all on paper.
p.s. I feel sick again. sore throat... can you actually get sick twice over the course of two weeks??? grrrr... Of course I'm drinking and taking every remedy I can find again. I am determined to stay healthy.

I have a plan. at least I think I have. it's not plan a or b, it's just an idea yet and still needs a little tweaking, but I think I actually know where I'll be going next year, when I'm done with uni and thesis.

I still can't grapple with the fact that as of tomorrow I will have joined the 9 to 5 population of this world. for at least the next six months. while writing me thesis.
oh the joy. can you tell I'm sceptical?

welcome home... after three years of silence my insomnia is back. so when I woke up knackered after 5 crappy hours of interrupted sleep I decided I might as well go and get my copy of harry potter. strangely not even idiots could bother me so far.
I know I have been bad at blogging lately but I can already tell you it won't get any better this weekend, because this is when I disappear for 2 days. I don't read the papers, I avoid the internet, my mailbox and mean people who want to spoil me cuz they read faster than me. this is when I start reading.

seriously? what dog wants to go for a walk at half past 7 in the morning? SERIOUSLY!!
obviously my gf's family's dog, which I am currently sitting does. Finn had to get to work so doggie dog came to me for walking assistance. gf was smart enough not to talk to me but just set down a cup of tea in front of me when I got back from the crisp morning air. I'm fucking tired now and not a person who can sleep during the day. booohooooo... today might suck but I'll try to make ice cream later today. pecan-caramel-ice cream that is.

looks like I might actually get the person I wanted as a sponsor (or do you say tutor? dict.leo.org isn't very helpful with this one.) for my thesis. I don't want to jinx it, it's all not certain yet, but he said I should send him my ideas as soon as I have some down on paper. which I hope to have by next week. damn, I hope this works out. am keeping my finger's crossed...

I just created a folder on my computer titled "Thesis". and I have a book about lobbying for ngo in front of me. I've officially started research, it's officially getting freaky now.
